Our Vision

Policymakers and leaders embrace a rural lexicon that eliminates the marginalization of rural, poor and unincorporated communities;

Policymakers, activists, and the public are properly educated and honest about the impact of air, water, and soil contamination on marginalized rural communities;

Sustainable innovations are used to improve the elimination of air, water, and soil contamination in marginalized rural communities;

Health issues associated with exposure to air, water, and soil contamination in the United States are exposed, treated, and quickly eliminated;

Human rights and environmental justice frameworks are used in policies to ensure that all rural communities have equitable access to clean air, water, and soil;

There is a strong pipeline of students and recent graduates who will pursue careers relevant to environmental and economic justice in marginalized rural communities.
